I have extensive experience of drawing and painting using, pen & ink, pencil, watercolour, acrylics, and soft pastels. My artwork has covered a wide range of subjects including still life, landscapes, portraits, wildlife, and abstract work.
I now specialise in soft pastels paintings of Pets, Animals and Birds, working from my home studio in Horsham.
Between 2010 and 2024 I was a member of the “Adventurers Art Club”, a West Sussex based art club (now “Adventurers in Art). During this time, I exhibited in the club’s annual Summer Exhibitions, and occasionally in the foyer of Clair Hall, Haywards Heath.
I was the Winner of the “Public Vote Award”, for the “Best Painting in Show”, in the Club’s 2017 and 2018 Summer Exhibitions, for my soft pastel’s paintings of a “Tiger” and a “Leopard”.
Since 2010, I have had the pleasure of occasionally acting as a guest Soft Pastels “Demonstrator and Workshop Organiser, at local Art Clubs.
In December 2019 I was appointed “Artist of the Month” by the Mannings Heath Golf Club and Wine Estate, where I displayed a range of my framed paintings in the club’s lounge-dining room over the Christmas period.
